SUMMARY:Smokey Bear's Birthday Party
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Smokey Bear’s Birthday. \nThere will be cake\, as well as arts and crafts for the children\, tours\, and hikes. \nThe U.S.  Forest Service Fire will be there with  their engine and equipment. \nSmokey Bear’s Birthday celebration is Saturday\, August 5\, 2023 from 10-1 at Big Pines Visitor Center. \nSmokey will be there to greet our visitors and there will be birthday cake.  Our USFS Fire crew will be there with their engine and equipment.  There will be crafts for children\, hikes\,and tours.  The event is free; however\, an Adventure Pass might be needed is some parking locations around the center.  The Big Pines Visitor Center is located at 24537 CA Highway 2 and is staffed by volunteers weekends 10-4. \n760-249-3504 \nwww.vanfbigpines.org \n\nThe event is put on by the Volunteers of the Angeles National Forest.
